Reggie Smith is a native of Murfreesboro, TN. He works as a Client Service Advisor with Pinnacle Financial Partners and has over ten years of experience in retail banking operations. Reggie started his banking career with Wachovia/Wells Fargo before joining the Avenue Bank/Pinnacle team. In his current role, he works with Small Businesses and Private Banking clients to help meet their banking needs. His mission at Pinnacle is to provide clients with distinctive financial service and effective advise and to make a positive impact on the community.
Reggie is active in the community, including co-founding a non-profit with his wife Lashaunda that focused on middle/high school students and took them on tours of college campuses all over Tennessee. He is a current board member of March of Dimes Music City and South Central Neighborhood Development Corporation. He has also worked/volunteered with the Dismiss House (Cookeville) and Fisk Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE). Reggie is also an alumni of Young Leaders Council – Nashville, which was created over 30 years ago to address the need to broaden and strengthen Nashville’s volunteer leadership base. He has also partnered with the Nashville Business Incubation Center (NBIC) to host/lead small business Mastermind classes for their clients.
Reggie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Tennessee Technological University , where he also played football. In addition, he has a Master’s degree (M.B.A.) from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Minor in Healthcare. He and his wife Lashaunda live in Hendersonville and has two kids (Jacob and Hannah). When not at work, Reggie enjoys spending with family/friends, trying new restaurants, and golf.
