Morgan Mansa serves as the Executive Director of The Barnes Housing Trust Fund, a grant program within the Office of Mayor Megan Barry. In this role, Mansa oversees The Barnes Fund and Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission, increases awareness of the importance of affordable housing funding and development, and manages property disposal and deed restriction processes. Mansa, an experienced affordable and fair housing advocate, has an extensive background in nonprofit, public, and private sectors, working most recently in the Research & Planning Division of the Tennessee Housing Development Agency. Prior to this position, Morgan was the Executive Director of Chicago Area Fair Housing Alliance, developing effective fair housing strategies for local governments and providing housing technical assistance to nonprofits and local jurisdictions in the Chicago region. She also served as the Housing Policy Director for the Oak Park Regional Housing Center where she led the policy development, advocacy, and communication efforts of the agency. Mansa received her B.A. in Sociology and Urban Studies from Calvin College and her Master of Public Policy and Administration degree from Northwestern University.
