Leshuan Darnell Oliver was born in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Leshuan attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where he earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree. Leshuan was hired as a Patrolman for the University of Tennessee Police Department (UTPD) after graduation and some of his career highlights at UTPD are as follows: Promoted to the Criminal Investigation Section in May 2008, became a Police Corporal July 2010, received the department’s Community Officer of the Year, and was the 2011 University of Tennessee Chancellor’s Award recipient of the Hardy Liston, Jr. Symbol of Hope. Leshuan continued his career in law enforcement with the Vanderbilt University Police Department (VUPD) in Nashville, Tennessee, where he became a Police Lieutenant. Leshuan continued his education and earned a Master’s in Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Bethel University- McKenzie, Tennessee in July 2013. Leshuan is an adjunct professor for Volunteer State Community College. Apart from his professional career in law enforcement, Leshuan is an active member of his fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc., a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee, he enjoys working out, playing basketball, catching up on WWE and most any sporting event with his friends, and spending quality family time with his wife and two children.
