Anthony C. Pickett is a native of Saginaw MI, but has lived in Williamson County for last twenty-seven years. He is a 2009 graduate, Magna Cum Laude, of the American Baptist College, in Nashville, Tn. with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible Theology. He was elected to Delta Epsilon Chi Honor Society in May of 2009 and was a recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. scholarship in 2009. Anthony is the former director of A Better Way to Live ministry of Williamson county, as well he is the former director of Men’s Ministry for Christian Home Ministry of Nashville.

He currently chairs Deacon Ministry at First Missionary Baptist Church, and he served on First Missionary Baptist’s Jail Ministry (since 1993). Anthony is the founder and member of the Community Appreciation Ministry and a member of the Williamson County Anti-Drug Coalition. As well, he serves as a board member of the 21 District Recovery Court in Franklin. He also, teaches the young adult Sunday school class and On the Way Bible Study class on Wednesday morning at First Missionary Baptist Church.

Anthony is married to Phyllis Pickett and they are the proud parents of three daughters Joi, Nachelle and Ashley.
