Shannen Stewart is highly-motivated and a dynamic individual who is, attracted to positivity and committed to excellence. As a Nashville Native, she graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Mass Communications. After graduation she moved to Orlando, Florida where she immersed herself in the Event Industry. With an extensive background in event planning, event furnishings, and event rentals Shannen Stewart exudes a refreshing willingness to learn about the industry and expand her expertise to better serve her clientele.
Outside of her demanding work schedule as Business Development Manager for Quest Events, the Premier nationwide provider of high quality drape and decor rentals, you will see Shannen at various networking events throughout the city. She has served on the board for the International Live Events Association and completed the Nashville Junior Chamber’s Leadership Institute. She is a member of the National Association of Catering and Events, and is an active member of the Tennessee Chapter of Meeting Professionals International where she currently serves as the Director of Special Projects.
When Shannen isn’t attending educational luncheons or networking events she is running her own. Shannen is known in the city as the founder of Heels and Handshakes. This private networking group gives women access to business leads, job opportunities and most importantly connections with other successful women in the event industry. Not only has this group benefited local industry professionals, it has opened doors for women who have relocated to Nashville seeking employment, career advice and friendship. Among her passion for events and networking, Shannen loves spending time with her husband, adorable four-month old son, and two fur babies.
