Cheryl Brown is the Executive Director of Homeownership Center, Good Neighbor Foundation, which is a HUD approved housing counseling agency that serves Williamson County and the surrounding areas.
She has over fourteen years of experience as a certified housing counselor and is highly qualified and skilled in providing a variety of counseling services such as homebuyer education classes, helping potential first-time homebuyers learn the basics of the homebuying process, default counseling for homeowners who may face difficulty maintaining their mortgage payments, as well as fair housing and rental counseling. She strives to ensure that her clients receive the highest quality of housing counseling available along with a clear understanding of local, state and federal programs. She takes great pride in hearing the many success stories of homeowners who have benefited from the services she provides.
She has been nominated twice for the Volunteer Spirit Award via Franklin Tomorrow and has served on such community boards in the Franklin area as GraceWorks and Franklin Christian Academy. She currently serves on the advisory council for BetterOptionsTN.
She is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, but moved to Franklin, TN in 2000 with her husband of 29 years and their three children.
