Ann Johnson has proudly called Middle Tennessee her home for her entire life, a native Nashvillian now residing in Franklin, Tennessee.

She is founder and CEO of Waste Tech Services, Inc. a national solid-waste consulting firm that celebrating 28 years in business. Ann is a certified member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

Ann is also on the board of the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and received an appointment by Gov. Haslam to sit on the advisory council of Keep Tennessee Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. Ann has been actively involved in supporting annual events for the Leiper’s Fork Village and for the past several years has been the MC for the Leiper’s Fork Christmas parade.

Ann served as Volunteer Coordinator for the Jeff Long for Sheriff Campaign and also served as Chairperson for the DUI Court Foundation inaugural fundraiser. Ann is a former board member of the DUI Court Foundation. Ann worked diligently county to county as a supporter of wine in grocery stores believing that beer was already being sold and it only made sense to sell wine.

Ann supports many charities including CASA, Franklin Theater, The Nashville Symphony and other non-profits close to her heart. She is a tremendous advocate for animals and people suffering from emotional and substance abuse.
