She graduated from Glencliff High School where she was voted “Most likely to succeed”. She attended Nashville State Technical College where she received degree in Computer Accounting. Her spiritual education began at St. Paul AME in Ashland City, Tennessee. After family changes, at the age of 12, she attended Progressive Baptist then moved on to Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church where she found her gift in developing and implementing youth programs; one of which is Precious Pearls which is still going on to this day.
