Guests gathered on Saturday, Aug. 26 to celebrate Williamson County’s unique history of bootlegging at the seventh annual Bootlegger’s Bash, hosted by the Battle of Franklin Trust. It was a perfect evening at Carnton as attendees sipped whiskey in the garden from a variety of local distillers, including H Clark Distillery, Tenn South Distillery, Prichard’s Distillery, Corsair Artisans, Leiper’s Fork Distillery and Rabbit Hole Distillery. Chad Street Band played lively music while guests mingled before sitting down to a Southern supper by Chef Penelope. The menu included fresh mixed greens salad tossed with seasonal berries, Nashville hot chicken, pork loin and Tennessee bourbon MoonPie bread pudding for dessert.
