Her passion of singing took off in her adolescence as member of Washington Performing Art Society’s Children of the Gospel. At the Duke Ellington School of Arts (DESA), she studied classical voice under Edward Jackson and became a sophisticated lady of the world-renowned DESA Show Choir.
