She briefly attended Draughon’ Business College and began working at Middle Tenn. Electric Membership Corporation in Oct. 1972. She married Raymond McLemore and has two sons, Dedric and Anthony and 5 grandchildren. Alma began working as a cashier and worked in various departments at MTEMC, accounting, customer service and the engineering department as engineering coordinator.
