Lucas (Luke) Dale Bottorff was born in Tennessee. His mother is the Executive Director of The Arc Williamson County, and his father is a local small business owner. Luke’s parents have instilled in him from a young age a hard work ethic and the drive to help those in need. After attending high school at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, TN, Luke earned a degree in business management from Virginia Tech. He returned home to Middle Tennessee and began his legal career, receiving his JD from Nashville School of Law.

Luke launched BOTTORFF LAW in January of 2015 to focus his law practice on small business owners and entrepreneurs. Luke genuinely cares about his clients and the success of the businesses. After watching his father run a small business in Middle Tennessee for 30 years, as well as running a small law office, he understands how important the business is to the owner’s life.

Luke’s options for representing businesses range from helping startups to representing in an in-house counsel capacity. Some of the frequent areas of business representation include: Incorporation and Business Formation, Contract Drafting/Review, Employment Matters, Mergers & Acquisitions, Employee Training, Compliance, Policy Creation, and Mediation.

When he’s not representing clients, Luke is an active member of the Rotary Club of Franklin at Breakfast, and serves on the Allocations Committee of the United Way of Williamson County and on the Tucker’s House Board of Directors. Luke is married to Tara, a dental hygienist, and they have a 2-year old daughter, Evelyn and newborn twin girls, Millie and Winnie.
