David Chadwell is the current Vice President of Event Operations for the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena, a role he assumed in August 2012. In this role, Chadwell is responsible for the experience of every guest entering Bridgestone Arena, whether it be a paying guest walking through the front door, or an artist walking through the back door. His goal is for every person entering the building to have a positive experience they cannot stop talking about. He also oversees all front and back of house operations including box office, crowd control, event medical, event services, parking, public safety and quality assurance. Chadwell joined Bridgestone Arena and the Nashville Predators full time in 2003 as Box Office Event Manager, advanced to Assistant Director of Ticketing in 2004 and Director of Ticket Operations in 2005.
What Chadwell is most proud of, is the organization’s consistency in continuously making strides to reach its ONE GOAL of becoming the number one sports and entertainment venue in the United States with its centerpiece as the Stanley Cup Champion Nashville Predators hockey team. As the organization grows, its fanbase and economic impact in the community grow alongside it. The Nashville Predators are proud to be recognized year after year by its outstanding venue, dedicated staff, tireless community outreach and city efforts, and envied workplace culture through international and national publications and awards. Chadwell is honored to work for a company that consistently sets pace and makes historic achievements while doing so.
Before coming to Bridgestone Arena, Chadwell worked with Starwood Amphitheatre and Creative Artist Agency and spent time on tour with the legendary B.B. King. A Middle Tennessee State University alumnus, Chadwell has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Music Business. During his tenure with Bridgestone Arena, Chadwell has received three awards for Leadership, as voted on by his peers. He has been a member of the International Ticketing Association (INTIX) since 2005 and International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) since 2012. A Nashville native, Chadwell loves to travel with his wife Scarlett and sons Tyson and Maddox; Chadwell and his family reside in Mt Juliet, Tenn.
