Marvin Brown is President of ARCpoint Labs of Murfreesboro. ARCpoint Labs is local full service National Third-Party Administrator and testing facility, providing Accurate, Reliable, and Confidential employment and health services. The company is nationally recognized and accredited by the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) and has developed a comprehensive program incorporating all aspects of federally mandated and non-mandated testing.

ARCpoint acts as a trusted adviser to its clients with capabilities inclusive of
testing policy review & development, program administration, and supervisor and employee training. Additionally, their well-trained staff meet clients’ needs by providing services on-site at their location, or at ARCpoint’s facility.

Marvin has over 25 years of work experience in several industries, and across different market segments (agri-business, banking, healthcare, and building materials), and different functional areas – plant operations, supply chain, ecommerce, project management, product management, and marketing. These experiences have allowed for a deeper understanding of pressure points for companies. The big difference in the work that Marvin did within Corporate America and what he currently does with ARCpoint is that his touches people in very personal ways and provide information that impact peoples’ lives.

Marvin basic philosophy has been – “The will to win means nothing without the will to prepare.” This philosophy carries over to the services that ARCpoint Labs provides, and the ways in which they go about performing those services. His inspirations are without a doubt his wife & father. Entrepreneurship certainly can have its challenges. His wife, Candace, has been the biggest supporter for him in following his entrepreneurial dreams, while his father who was a veteran of Vietnam War veteran, demonstrated perseverance. Most of Marvin’s philosophies & business views on the importance of great customer service are based on what his father shared with him.

Marvin serves as a Diplomat in the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers locally teaching with Junior Achievement. Much of his time is dedicated to work, but what he most enjoys participating as an Assistant Scout Master in Boy Scouts of America with my sons through their church, Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church, where he also serves as Deacon.

A native of Jackson, Tennessee, Marvin graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN and a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Additionally, he studied abroad at in the International Program at Manchester Business School (England).
